What is the definition of a Roadshow?

A roadshow is a trip by investment bankers to potential clients, pitching companies and ideas to them in the hope that they invest. It usually involves many different people within the bank, many pitch books, lots of global travel and many hours of work. People working on the roadshow may have to do presentations in 2 or more locations each day with travel in-between.
