The UK postpones students, work, family visa applications in Nigeria over Ukraine War

The United Kingdom High Commission in Nigeria has declared openly a momentary recess of primacy visas for students, work and family requests for the core now being sighted on requests prepared under the Ukraine Family Scheme.
The recent action prompted the UK visa and immigration takeoff of the Ukraine Family Scheme in response to the humanitarian emergency arising from the onslaught of Ukraine by Russia.
This exposure is enclosed in a message tagged, ‘Temporary Suspension of Priority Visas for Student, Work and Family Applications’, published on Tuesday by the UK High Commission in Nigeria and can be glimpsed on its website.
The high commission in its message asserted that prospects with explicit requests in the study, work and family trials may expert some hesitations in the processing of their request.
Based on the above assertion, it implies what the UK High Commission is asserting.
The high commission remarked that Nigerians, whose visas were available for retrieval, would be reached by the Visa Application Centre.
The statement from the high commission reads,
“UK Visas and Immigration is presently prioritising requests made under the Ukraine Family Scheme, celebrating its takeoff and in feedback to the humanitarian more emergency emanating from the onslaught of Ukraine.
“As a consequence, UKVI has temporarily halted primacy and super-priority duties for the recent study, work, and family applications.
