Sony announced that PlayStation 5 to be released later this year

In a video stream on Thursday, Sony unveiled the design of the new PlayStation 5 game, including the games that would be launched together with the PS5. However, Sony did not reveal the pricing but the game is said to start selling at the end of this year, 2020.

In the video, Sony revealed two different versions of the Playstation 5. One of these versions is Playstation 5 Digital Edition and the other is just PlayStation 5. The digital edition version does not have a disc reader. This shows that it will only have a hard drive and might not cost as much as the other versions. While many people were expecting that the company would reveal the pricing of the new PS 5, Sony did not. In fact, Sony said that the price of the new PS would come later this year. 

In terms of the tech spec of the new PS 5, Sony revealed that it will run on an eight-core AMD Zen 2 processor. The accessories for the new PS include an HD camera that would make it easy for the game players to broadcast themselves while playing, a wireless headset with 3D audio support, and a unique media remote for easy navigation while playing the game. Added to this, the game also comes with a DualSense charging station to power up controllers.

The PlayStation 5 will be competing directly with Microsoft's Xbox Series X that would also be launched this year. 

Sony Playstation 5 Release date. 

According to people familiar with the matter, the PlayStation 5 system will become available for purchase on November 20, 2020. Sony has not confirmed this date, however, the game will be out before black Friday sale and Black Friday sales event is on November 29, 2020.
