Showmax and Netflix: An Overview

Showmax and Netflix are online streaming services that give viewers access to a wide range of movies, television series, and other forms of video content like documentaries.

The basic Showmax package costs N2900 on a monthly basis while the Showmax pro package costs N6300 monthly. The two packages allow you to stream with HD quality and also register more than two accounts on different devices at the same time. 

The difference between both packages is the Showmax Pro allows you to stream the news channel for 24 hours while the basic package does not. Also, the pro package gives access to streaming live football but the basic package does not. However, the mobile versions of both packages are about 50% cheaper. The basic package goes for N1450 while the pro package goes for N3200. The downside is that you are only allowed to register one device on the mobile version.

Netflix like Showmax has fixed prices and its customers have access to pick from their four plans which are Netflix Mobile plan, Basic plan, Standard plan, and Premium plan. These plans cost N1200, N2900, N3600, and N4400 monthly respectively. The mobile plan gives access to unlimited movies and TV shows but only one device is allowed. 

The Basic plan also gives access to unlimited movies and shows, you can stream on your laptops and TVs but only one screen is allowed. The standard plan unlike the aforementioned plans allows more than one screen at a time and you can stream movies in high definition. The premium plan like the standard plan allows you to stream on several devices at the same time. The advantage it has over the other plans is that movies in HD and Ultra HD can be streamed.
