The collaborative effort aims to provide specialized training to 5,000 women and girls in fields like data science, artificial intelligence, and the entrepreneurial application of digital technologies.
Bridging the Gap: A Vision for Skills Development
This visionary initiative forms part of a comprehensive skills enhancement program, with the support of Google.org. The overarching goal is to equip an additional 20,000 women and young individuals across Nigeria with cutting-edge skills, positioning them for promising prospects within the dynamic digital and creative industries.
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State expressed, “Tech inclusion transcends social equity; it’s integral to economic advancement. By endowing women with digital proficiencies, we dismantle gender barriers while laying the foundation for substantial economic expansion. Our partnership with Google underscores our commitment to harnessing the immense potential of women, catalyzing socio-economic transformation across Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.”
Elevating Economic Growth through Inclusive Tech
