NTA Veteran Broadcaster Aisha Bello Is Dead

Mrs Aisha Bello Mustapha, a popular news broadcaster who worked with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), has been confirmed dead over a brief illness. However, the cause of her death is not detailed.
Late Aisha was popularly known for her presentation on the Network News at 9 pm. Her death, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, has sent shockwaves amongst many as she was a reputable broadcaster who was loved by many.
Before passing away, Late Aisha served as a General Manager of the NTA Parliament and retired from services in May 2022.
Following the news of her death, it was reported that Late Aisha Bello's funeral prayer would be held for her at the National Mosque in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, today.
Before her death, she was recognized for her craft as she worked alongside veteran news broadcasters like Cyril Stober and Eugenia Abu.
She was most recognized for her critical role as one of the top newsreaders on NTA Network News at 9 PM in the 1990s and early 20s.
The family broke the devastating news in a statement, saying, “Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha, our mother. You really are a very kind person, Mama, indeed, you are a very kind-hearted person. We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma.”
The funeral is scheduled at the central mosque in Abuja at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023. May the soul of the late Aisha Bello rest in peace. Amen!
She was formerly addressed as Aisha Bello Katung before changing her name to Aisha Bello Mustapha. Following her death, many of her fans have taken to social media to mourn her death.

She is an alumnus of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, located in Kaduna State, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/Media studies.
