The Federal Executive Council (FEC) approved nearly
N14 billion on Wednesday in Abuja for a nine-month training program for 50,000
non-graduates of N-power.
The meeting, which took place in the Council Chamber
of the Presidential Villa in Abuja and was presided over by President Muhammadu
Buhari, also adopted the Business, Facilitation, and Miscellaneous Provision
Bill.
While updating State House media on the conclusion of
the council meeting, Sadiya Umar-Farouq, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs,
Disaster Management, and Social Development, and Abubakar Malami,
Attorney-General, and Minister of Justice, revealed the approvals.
Umar-Farouq indicated that the N14 billion would be
utilized to hire four federal government entities to assist in the training of
non-graduates for a nine-month period.
