August job numbers are out and we have a disappointing number to report for the black community. The new August job data shows that black unemployment rose while the number declines for Asian, white, and Hispanic job seekers. This means that companies are hiring non-black employers that than are hiring black people.
The unemployment rate for black workers is 6.9% for colored people with an associate degree level of education
The unemployment rate for white is 5.8% for white school dropouts. This job report means that black people are facing a tough time getting a decent job compared to work seekers of other races with a lower level of education.
