Microsoft builds $100 million Africa Development Centre in Lagos, Nigeria

The American international technology, Microsoft Corporation, which creates computer software, confidential computers, and suitable services, yesterday, began its first African Development Centre (ADC) in Lagos.
The center is a $100 million stake by the multi-billion dollar corporation is where software engineering remedies are believed to be invested in Africa.
This revelation is enclosed in a tweet post by Bashir Ahmed, the Personal Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, on his authorized Twitter account on March 21, 2022.
The center, which was built alongside the one in Nairobi, Kenya, will be the first to be inaugurated in Africa and is another cue of the landmass’s evolving implication as an international center for mastery.
What Bashir Ahmed is asserting
In the tweet from the President’s aide on Digital and New Media, Bashir Ahmed said, ‘’Microsoft, an American multinational technology corporation which produces computer software, personal computers, and related services, opens its first African Development Centre (ADC) in Lagos, Nigeria.’’
The Vice President of Microsoft Corporate, Michael Fortin, In the course of the takeoff of this center in May 2019, asserted that the craving of the technology corporation is to call up exceptional engineering capability and get the opportunity to operate on the recent technologies satisfactory for Kenya, Nigeria and the world at large.
