Legendary rapper and entrepreneur Master P has teamed up with former Tesla engineer, Richard Patterson to create the Trion SuperCars, making it the first Black-owned supercar manufacturer in the US.

Trion Supercars is the new Black-owned auto company that is being engineered by Patterson. The company is banking on its ability to provide engineering excellence and making history as the first Black-owned supercars company.

Patterson is a popular name in the supercar industry. He is a former Tesla engineer who designed the Model S vehicle from scratch. It was he who created the landing gear for Boeing 777 and the Dodge Minivan’s folding seat.

“Richard Patterson is a genius,” said Master P in a statement. “He has created the blueprints for the next era of supercars. It’s time for us to change the narrative of our culture by offering economic empowerment with this partnership. This is history. We have come a long way to be a part of innovative technology, manufacturing and producing our own automobiles.”

Master P added that the team will be producing a line of affordable luxury vehicles in addition to the high-end models’ line. This will be achieved using Trion’s advanced technology developments.

The Nemesis RR, which was designed by Patterson will be the first offering from Trion Supercars. However, a date for its debut is yet to be fixed.

“The Nemesis RR is about the superb performance, head-turning appearance, and technical innovation that creates the blueprint for the next era of supercars,” said Master P

“This is history,” Master P wrote in the caption. “We have come a long way to witness and be a part of innovative technology, manufacturing and producing vehicles owned and made by us. In addition to the Nemesis RR models, Trion Supercars is currently in the process of creating affordable luxury SUVs and cars for the masses.”

Master P is focusing on investing and his target is Supercars. A lot of rappers will pay any amount for supercars that aren’t owned by minorities.  Therefore, Master P and Tesla’s former engineer Richard Patterson to create the Trion SuperCars.   

The car will be the first of its kind to be owned by a minority. It’s going to be powerful and it will be worth a lot more in the future.
