Job Cut everywhere, what's going on?
Companies are cutting jobs seriously and it seems like the economic situation is not getting better for anyone. Amazon, Facebook, Lyft, NBA shot maker Dapper labs and many other companies are cutting jobs due to inflation and the current financial condition around the world.
Amazon reported today that it will freeze hiring for its corporate workforce, Stripe to lay off 14% of its staff, Lyft will cut jobs by 13% and Dapper Labs will lay off 22%.
Also, Elon Musk is expected to fire half of Twitter employees and the remainder will be asked to stop working from home.
According to Bloomberg, Elon will get rid of 3,700 jobs at Twitter Inc in other to cut costs after buying Twitter for $44 billion.
