He finished his primary school education at Ansarudin Primary School before moving to Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School, which is situated in Lagos, Nigeria. After this, he proceeded to the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), where, for his tertiary education, he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, where he graduated as the best student in his class in 1984.
