The Economy and Financial Crimes Commission has filed $35,400,000 in money laundering charges against Binance Holdings Limited and two top executives, Tigran Gambaryan and Nadeem Anjarwalla, who are fugitives.
The Office of the National Security Adviser has announced that it has now completely transferred control of the case to the EFCC, which has also arrested Gambaryan and obtained a court warrant to detain and extradite Anjarwalla, the fugitive.
News reports show the anti-graft commission is working with the International Criminal Police Organisation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation of the United States, the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the government of Kenya to apprehend and extradite Anjarwalla, the fugitive who escaped from legally held prison in Nigeria.

In the first motion, dated March 18 and submitted by his lawyer, Olujoke Aliyu of Aluko and Oyebode Law Firm, Mr. Gambaryan asked Justice Inyang Ekwo for five reliefs.
Additionally, Nadeem Anjarwalla, the regional manager for Binance in Africa, who recently escaped from official custody on March 22, also filed a separate right enforcement lawsuit before Justice Ekwo.
According to the official news, first reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Messrs. Gambaryan and Anjarwalla sued the Office of NSA (ONSA) and the EFCC as first and second respondents in the cases with the filing numbers FHC/ABJ/CS/356/24 and FHC/ABJ/CS/355/24.
