Facebook is facing the heat for failing to stop hate speech, racist posts, and other negative messages on its platform that are disturbing the peace around the world. As a result, some big-spending companies are pulling their money away from Facebook. Some time ago, President Trump issued a post that threatened protesters, Twitter flagged the message but Facebook refused to condemn the message.

In response to Donald Trump's post, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, " Social networks should not be "the arbiter of truth". This means they'll let some message stand even if it can cause chaos. Zuckerberg's comment draws backlash and companies started to boycott the media giant. Ben & Jerry's ice cream maker was the first to pull the plug and now, another big corporation has followed to boycott Facebook. “Continuing to advertise on these platforms at this time would not add value to people and society,” Unilever said in a statement.
