Black-owned Vegan Burger Brand secures $300,000 investment on Shark Tank

Black-owned vegan burger company, Everything Legendary has secured a $300,000 investment after its founders pitched the burger brand on ABC’s hit TV show “Shark Tank.” The team struck a deal with Mark Cuban and sold $250,000 worth of burgers online within 24 hours of when the episode aired.

“This is a vegan, flavorful movement that we’re starting right now. And we’re revolutionizing the entire industry,” said Duane “Myko” Cheers, co-founder of Everything Legendary. “I believe that our product is better. You guys heard it on Shark Tank. All five sharks shared that this is the best plant-based burger they’ve ever had.”

The Everything Legendary team consists of Duane “Myko” Cheers, Danita Claytor, and Jumoke Jackson. They successfully pitched their business to Mark Cuban, Lori Grenier, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, and Kevin O’Leary on season 12 of the hit TV show. The trio offered “the Sharks” a $300,000 investment opportunity in exchange for 10% of their company.

The deal closed with billionaire Mark Cuban who walked away with a $300,000 investment in exchange for 22% equity. Cuban’s backing has helped the plant-based burger brand reached thousands of new customers within a short time. Everything Legendary is now shipping products nationwide.
