Access Bank Plc declares a final dividend payment to its shareholders of N0.70 per share

For the financial year ended December 2021, Access
Bank Plc declared a final dividend payment of N0.70 kobo per 50 kobo ordinary
share to every shareholder.
This brings the total payment to N1.00 kobo, which
includes an interim dividend of N0.30 per share paid on September 29, 2021, and
a final dividend of N0.70 per ordinary share, which is subject to withholding
tax.
Shareholders must guarantee that their names are
enrolled in the Register of Members by the qualification date of April 19,
2022, according to the disclosure made with the Exchange (NGX).
Ordinary shareholders whose names appear on the
Register of Members as of Tuesday, April 19th, 2022 and those who have
completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay their
dividends directly into their bank accounts will receive the N24.88 billion
dividend electronically on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Coronation Registrars Limited serves as the company's
registrar, and the e-dividend mandate form can be downloaded or filled out
online at the registrar's website.
At the time of filing this report, Access Bank Plc had
35,545,225,622 outstanding shares and a market capitalization of N348.34
billion. The company's shares began trading at N10.40 per share on March 18,
2022 and ended at N9.80 per share.

Access Bank Plc had already announced its Audited 2021
financial statements, declaring a profit of N160 billion for the period ending
December 31, 2021, or a 51.13 percent year-on-year increase.
In the full year, interest income totaled N601.70
billion, compared to N489.22 billion in the same period in 2020.
Earnings per share came in at N4.58 kobo, compared to
N3.01 kobo in the same period last year.
The company's shares have risen 5.38 percent year to
date, from N9.30 at the start of the year to N9.80 at the time of writing this
report.
