A quick update on Alibaba founder Jack Ma who was reported missing

Numerous reports have claimed that Alibaba founder Jack Ma is missing, but we have a new update on the story in case you are worried about your Alibaba stock.  Jack Ma is lying low, and not missing, CNBC confirmed today via a person familiar with the matter.

As you all know, Jack Ma was getting ready for the Ants Group IPO when the transaction was suspended by the Shanghai stock exchange and Hong Kong. Shortly after the Ant Group IPO was suspended, Jack Ma and two other executives were summoned and since then he hasn't been seen in public.

 That's all we have on the "Jack Ma is missing" story for now. We'll update this post soon as new information becomes available on his whereabouts.

Alibaba stock is up today shortly after CNBC confirmed that he is not missing.
