2 Years Old, Alexis Olympia, Serena Williams' Daughter Becomes The Youngest Owner Of A Pro Sports Team

Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr, the two years old daughter of tennis goat Serena Williams, and Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian Sr is now the youngest owner of a professional sports team. This is a clear indication that the little girl is following the footsteps of her mother. 

The National Women's Soccer News report revealed that the little girl is one of the founding investors of Angel City, the soon-to-be professional women’s soccer team in Los Angeles. Other founding investors include Alexis Ohanian, Serena Williams, Eva Longoria, and Sr., Jennifer Garner.

Alex Ohanian, the lead founding investor sees his investment as a way of advocating for more women participation in sports. 

“As someone who spends hours kicking around a football with my two-year-old daughter, I want her to have a front-row seat to this revolution. I’m personally investing on behalf of my family because creating more opportunities in women’s sports is important to my wife and me, and we want to be a part of making a better future for our daughter,” he said, in an NWSL news release.

NWSL also revealed that the new team would kick-start in 2022. 

Olympia's ownership was announced on Twitter earlier this week.
